ORGANIZATION ON RECEIVING GOODS FROM MANUFACTURER
The back office verifies the observance of the delivery time by the manufacturer and the conformity of the goods as required.
GOODS ARRIVAL AND STORAGE
The arrival of the goods is controlled through the bar code reader. The goods will be stored with a particular alphabetical rule until the withdrawal from the dealer. The logistics division of Herbovital covers an area of 10,000 m2 and is equipped with 85 loading vents. It’s located at Interporto of Bologna, a strategic hub for road and rail transport with the facilitation of customs service inside.
DEALER’S GOODS WITHDRAWAL ORGANIZATION
The back office starts the logistic co-organization with the dealer, calculating weights and volumes, developing the cargo plan and the necessary documents.
LOADING PREPARATION
The goods are organized by loading lines, one line for each dealer. The goods are prepared by weights, types of packaging and related items they may contain and then in the order they will be loaded. This procedure allows a significant reduction of loading time.
OPTIMIZING THE LOADING PLAN
As request of the client, to ensure a better firmness in the forwarding, it’s possible to fully download the previous cargo and reload it by optimizing the spaces. The phases of the loading are all photographed so that customers can always check the loading procedure and the presence of the packages on the truck.
