In the basement of a small South Tyrolean village, Arnold Gasser and Johann Krapf began in 1979 the successful story of their company duka. The space was limited, but the enthusiasm was very high. They soon convinced the customers of the quality and the usefulness of duka shower enclosures. The production volume quickly increased, so that already in 1980 the company premises were moved to the south of Brixen. Quality and reliability are the characteristics that always distiguish the duka shower enclosures. The flexibility and the ability to follow the customer requests are further aspects which differentiate duka from competitors. Thanks to these abilities, duka could increase its production, expanding its markets and giving to more than 150 employees a steady job. The rapid company growth required a relocation, and in 1993 the new premises were inaugurated. The modern building, located in the middle of the beautiful South Tyrolean landscape, represents the philosophy of Mr. Arnold Gasser, Johann Krapf and Luis Rabensteiner: to be open to innovation, making the most out of every chance, but keeping its own style and values. duka is conscious of the fact that hard work is needed for every successful step. However we are ready to face new challenges. duka will exploit every chance to push the company forward using the instruments of modern management in order to support this process and to strengthen mutual confidence with duka partners.
High-quality materials are the base of the production process of a shower enclosure. The word "quality" has a strong and precise meaning for us, and follows us on every step: from the attention to material selection and profile processing to the engagement we dedicate to every task. The assembly of every single shower enclosure is the personal responsibility of the single worker (no "assembly line" approach), which leads to high quality standards as well as to the highest employee motivation.
